Overview

Oishi Sushi Restaurant is a standout gem nestled in Rome’s vibrant Ostiense district, offering a refined yet inviting Japanese dining experience. Located on Via del Gazometro, this spot balances traditional sushi craftsmanship with a modern atmosphere, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

The menu is thoughtfully curated, with highlights including perfectly executed sashimi di tonno, delicate tempura ebi, and an array of uramaki rolls that showcase fresh, high-quality ingredients. Standouts such as the Sake Tempura rolls and spicy variations artfully combine textures and flavors, while classic dishes like ramen and zuppa di miso with tofu elevate the meal with authentic warmth.

Oishi is especially known for its all-you-can-eat format, which sets it apart in a city dotted with sushi options. Despite the buffet style, the quality remains consistently excellent. Diners praise the freshness of the seafood and the attentive, friendly service, complemented by a sleek digital ordering system—an innovative touch that enhances convenience and engagement.

The space itself lends to a modern, comfortable atmosphere with ample room to gather, making it an ideal setting for social dining. On weekends, a DJ energizes the vibe, turning the restaurant into a lively spot for sharing good food alongside vibrant cocktails and sake selections. This makes Oishi Sushi a perfect destination for groups of friends or anyone seeking a dynamic yet relaxed night out.

For those coming by car, be mindful of parking challenges nearby, but once inside, the spacious and stylish interior more than compensates, even featuring unique elements like a serving robot that adds a fun, futuristic twist to the experience.

All things considered, Oishi Sushi Restaurant offers a well-rounded journey into Japanese cuisine right in the heart of Rome, appealing both to sushi aficionados and casual diners. It’s a place where quality, atmosphere, and innovation come together seamlessly, promising a memorable and satisfying visit.

A wonderful all you can eat sushi experience in the Ostiense neighborhood of Rome. Competition is fierce with so many good sushi spots in Rome but this one holds it weight easily. Great prices, friendly service and fresh seafood. I love the digital ordering menu! Despite the all you can eat style of restaurant the sushi remains high quality. Highly recommended!

The best sushi i ever eaten. I rate it 1000/10 and recommandet to you all. The staf was very friendly and the service was super fast. Prices were more than reasonable. If you ever go to Roma you should definitely try sushi at Oishi. In addition to the wonderful cooking the bar has a large surface and is very nicely decorated. There is space to take pictures and a robot that can serve you your order.

The food was very delicous, higly recommended! With 19euro, all you can eat (drink and sweet excuded), worthit! We really enjoybthe food and the service! We have also mochi for desert but not impressive. The space is amazing, also comfortable. If you go with car, consider it because we didnt see any free parking left (on the street).

Simply brilliant. HIGHLY recommended. Sashimi was fresh and of good quality - I thought that this is not possible in an All-U-Can-Eat price but at Oishi they do. All the rest was of equally good quality, freshly served cooked selections as well on offer besides sushi. It is worth coming to Rome for this! Enjoy.

All you can eat sushi with fresh fish and unlimited possibility to order sashimi with salmon! Also, there is a cute robot that sometimes serves the customers. I liked the quality of the sushi, however, I put four stars because there are not so many options for sushi rolls and uramaki with salmon. I would recommend expanding the menu with fresh, not cooked salmon.
